We try to incorporate a culture of inclusivity where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together and celebrate their unique identities. One of our core focuses is working with the queer community and empowering the LGBTQIA+ culture.
Through our events, we also encourage the idea of resource sharing within interest groups, creating opportunities for individuals to come together and exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Moreover, we blend with people of different ideologies and create a room for expression, breaking down the walls of gender discrimination and embracing the rainbow of diversity. From organizing engaging food walks that bring people together to nurturing meaningful connections between individuals, an environment is created where everyone feels valued and accepted. Together, we can build bridges, celebrate our differences, and promote a more inclusive and understanding society.Â

Food Walk
Our food walks in the narrow streets of Jaipur often surprise even the locals, as we ask them if they have visited and tried the culinary delights from these hidden gems before.
Queer Mixer
We organized the first-ever Queer Mixer in the city on June 11th to commemorate Pride Month. The intention and idea behind the Queer Mixer were to encourage social interaction within the LGBTQ+ community
Jaipur Pride, a fantabulous event that took place in the Pink City for the first time, witnessed a massive participation of 700 individuals from the queer community and their allies. It was a surreal experience, bringing together diverse voices and cultures under one umbrella of love and unity.Â
The Pride week kicked off with a queer food walk through the historic streets of Jaipur, curated by Apeksha. This event was aimed to foster connections and break the ice by indulging in the city’s oldest flavors, as food is a shared interest that brings people together.Â
The opening event delved into the rich history and culture of queer communities in India. Through an insightful session, attendees explored literary works by Babur, Madho Lal Hussain, and other progressive Indian writers who vividly depicted traditions, characters, and rituals within these communities.Â
The week continued with interactive events such as a movie night featuring screenings of Ismat Chugtai’s “Lihaaf” directed by Rahat Kazmi and “A Monsoon Date” by Tanuja Chandra and Gazal Dhaliwal. Attendees had a wonderful time enjoying these thought-provoking films that shed light on different aspects of queer experiences. Â
The Jaipur Pride event organized by MSP last year was a landmark moment for the city, celebrating love, diversity, and inclusivity. It created a safe and joyous space for the queer community and their allies to come together, strenghting a sense of belonging and empowerment. Â
